The plates and bowls are made of porcelain decorated with a bamboo motif on the sides and bamboo leaves on the surface. All pieces have a glossy glaze and are footed. The plates are 6 5/8" x 4 1/2" and are impressed on the bottom with Japanese writing. The bowls are 3 1/4" x 2 1/4" and are not impressed with any symbols.
